Líodor was born out of pure frustration. Every time we bought a new perfume, we thought the same thing: why are we paying so much for this, and why does the scent disappear after two hours? It just felt unfair. We wanted something that really lasted and didn't break the bank.During our search, we discovered that perfume oil has been incredibly popular in countries like Egypt and the Middle East for centuries. People there wear oil perfumes because they're much more intense and long-lasting. However, here in Europe, almost no one knew about it. We found that bizarre, yet it presented exactly the opportunity we'd been looking for.
In 2022, the idea began to take shape. For two years, we tested everything imaginable. Hundreds of fragrances, different oils, concentrations, and ingredients. We didn't just want a perfume, but something truly the best of the best. Finally, we found the perfect balance: intense, long-lasting, and affordable.
In May 2024, we launched Líodor. No big launch, no office or expensive store. Just a small table and a handful of bottles of perfume oil. That was the beginning.
And then things took off. People started sharing it, the reactions poured in, and suddenly we weren't alone behind that table anymore. In less than a year, Líodor grew into a true brand, with a warehouse, a team, and now more than 17,000 satisfied customers.
What started as frustration has grown into something we're proud of every day. And we can't wait to bring many more people along on this adventure.
